I'm so very sorry for your loss. I didn't know Ed but I know his girls and if we are a reflection of our parents I knew a bit of what he was like through them. Kind and loving and open and giving. Just like we reflect our Heavenly Father's love so we also reflect the love of our earthly Father. We knew of Ed through mutual friends and many years later finally met Ed . All I could say was "so you're that Ed Vitale" ?. That night we played cards with Ed and Dee and we saw a most gentle, kind, fun loving ,positive thinking Ed Vitale. Just wish we had known him for a longer time. Dee, you and the family have our deepest sympathy . Our prayers and blessings to all of you and for whom we will always remember "that Ed Vitale" . Rest in Peace Ed.

I will miss this humble, gentle man. When I didn’t know an answer to a baseball question, I would seek him out in his area, to get the answer for the fan. Such a great contribution to our staff when he worked for the Phillies. My condolences to the family.

Alexandra, Georgiana and myself send our deepest condolences to the entire vitale and extended family. I remember Uncle Ed throughout my life as always have a smile, a clever story and brought a certain lightness to any occasion. One of my fondest memories is sharing a vacation to Disney World with Uncle Ed and Aunt De and my mom, Mallieen. We had a fantastic time and is certainly a highlight of my childhood. I will always remember Ed with kindness and he will be missed, but never forgotten. With Love, Steimel and Jaccard Family.
