I worked with Paul in the Defense Office at Boeing for over 10 years. He was a mentor, who challenged us to excellence. Did not know about his service in WWII, (I wish that I had) but he never spoke about it (at least not to me). He was a great guy, who always worked with us to get the job done and to keep the helicopters flying. I humbly offer my condolences to his family and friends.
Respectfully,
Ron Spirito
(Former) Administrative Contracting Officer

The Officers and Members of Ogden Fire Company No. 1 offer our prayers and wish to express our sincere sympathy to the Family and Friends of Paul Kambies. Paul was a long time Treasurer of the Fire Company and is credited with initiating a financial strategy that ultimately led to Ogden securing a new facility in the early 1970s at its current location on Naamans Creek Road. Paul worked tirelessly to see this project through, understanding the importance of this move for the future safety of the community. Paul was known for his tight control over every dollar and investment strategies that improved our firefighting capabilities as well. For his dedicated service to Ogden Fire Company and the Community, he was recognized by being voted an Honorary Life Member. Paul’s legacy will ever be a part of our history. May Paul “Rest in Peace.”
William T. Robinson, President
Ogden Fire Company No. 1
