My heartfelt condolences to Colleen, Kathy, Tommy and Danny - and the whole McHale family. I had the priviledge of spending time closely with Mr. McHale during the period after Kathy and I returned from our time in London. He and Mrs. McHale were so kind to me - and I have warm memories of the laughter and love I experienced in their presence. I was and am still struck by the unconditional love and support I saw from both Mr. and Mrs. McHale towards all their kids. They led the way for the family to be as comfortable laughing about everything out loud as they were with honesty when there was a problem. When there were problems, they were dealt with as a loving family - nothing too big to love through. I am grateful to have witnessed this family be themselves, and open their arms and doors to me and to all friends. Sending so much love, respect and admiration up right now. Mr. and Mrs. McHe are rejoicing in being together again, and know that their kids are caring for one another, and readily finding every reason in the world to remember the good times and all the laughter. Sending so much love, respect and strength to Colleen, Kathy, Tommy and Danny right now. Hold each other tight - as you do so well.

I am sorry for your loss. Your dad was a special man and always treated us like we were family. From years going to Ocean City (and the family meal at the 18th street house) to the fun football weekends, your dad was always the life of the party. His love of his children and grandchildren was so evident. We were lucky to have known him and will miss him very much. God bless.
