Popi was THE MAN. I spent many hours with him @ family functions since my Daughter married his Grandson many years ago. He was never shy about giving or getting a hug and a kiss from those who knew and loved him. Even though he was a full blooded Italian we Irish would gladly of claimed him as our own. He will be surly missed as the oldest & wisest male at all of the family gatherings.
God Speed Popi, I know you and Ida are happy to be with each other once again.

Sorry for the loss of your loved one. When the enemy death strikes, words are never enough at a time like this, but know that caring thoughts are with you. Find comfort in knowing that God has promised to "swallow up death forever" (Isaiah 25:8) and “he will resurrect our loved ones who have passed away” (John 5:28) (jw.org)

I will always treasure the memories I have of my Uncle Carmen. He was a very special man, loved his family and filled with an abundance of faith for the Lord. I think of him especially when I'm down the shore as he was the one who taught me how to clean the crabs. I know he had a special place in his heart for my mom and they are now all back together. Rest in peace, I will miss you

I am so sorry to hear about Charlie. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the family. I have so many wonderful memories from Dover Street of both Charlie and Ida. I am sure they are both sitting together at God's side today.

Carmen Pilone was exactly what I always thought a father should be. He was warm and loving and genuinely kind. I met him when I was 13, when my family joined his through marriage. He always made me feel welcome and as if I was part of his family. I especially loved his sense of humor, his faith, and his caring nature. He will be greatly missed.

Pop was not a man of many words. Yet he said more with his quiet actions than most people do with their most eloquent speeches. His actions always spoke of family, the benefits of hard work, and faith. His lessons will live on in his family.
We love and miss you Pop!

Poppi was a very special grandfather. I had two nick names for him: “young fella” and “my handsome boy”. Every time I saw him he was happy. I cherish the time that I spent with him and Grammie, particularly when my daughter Catherine and her cousin Anna where young. I loved walking around their neighborhood looking at Christmas decorations after Christmas Eve Dinner. Last summer he brought Phillip and I 2 bottles of his wine when he came to see our house. We’ll open one this year in his honor on his birthday, the Feast of Our Lady of Mt Carmel. I was blessed to call Carmen Pilone my Poppi! Rest In Peace my handsome boy. I miss you, Love Patti

Carmen Pilone was a perfect example of loving and caring Father and friend. To have known him these many years as the father to my beloved friend, Carmen, has been a true honor. He had a warm and tender smile and an affectionate hug that let you know you were loved. I will miss the empty spot in the pew he occupied so many mornings at daily mass, and the affectionate kiss he would blow across the aisle to me when going to receive Our Lord in the Eucharist.
Yes the earth is a litter dimmer for his departure but I have no doubt that heaven is shining a little brighter for his arrival. God Rest you dear friend, I will miss you.
