Sure do miss you Bill. Missed you at Mike's on Easter. I pray you are with Lucy and Mac and Nanny and Pop now and all of those whom you loved in this lifetime. I pray you are in a place so full of Love and Peace that it transcends all understanding.
Wish I could call you and we could talk about Liz and Keagan and to see how're your doing; but as far as the last part, I choose to believe that 'how you are doing' is alot better than some of us on this side who miss your energy and 'style'. Sending prayers and lighting a candle for your soul and for all of us here who continue to miss you dearly. lots of love, pat

Dear "Lizzie",
We never met but I worked with your Dad as a vendor when he was in Philadelphia and also at Christiana Care.
We had some laughs and always at someone else's expense.
I just wanted to let you know how proud your dad was of you.
From your days at Padua, through college and when you started your work career,
he always smiled when he spoke of your many accomplishments.
It was evident to all how much he loved you.
Always know that you were number 1 in his mind and always in his thoughts.
Sincerely,
Al Macdonald
(no relation as he always said)

It was an honor and privileges to work with Bill McDonald at the both Chestnut Run Federal Credit Union and now Louviers since 1998 as BOD. On the other side as managing Hospitals, meet with lots of common friends from Christiana Hospitals Also my wife Ranjan Patel worked at Christiana Hospital and admired his reputation in Medical Benefits and HR area. When visited this morning he looked exactly like, he is about to say something funny.
our thoughts and prayers are with the Family and rest in peace to Bill McDonald. He will be certainly missed by everyone.

I am still in disbelief that you are gone Mr. Mac. You were such a great person and I won't forget the chats we had when I would come visit my mom at work and most recently on Facebook over the years. You were always so welcoming to us as an extension of my mom and very supportive that I see you as family that I have loss which is heartbreaking. I was so looking forward to your commentary during and/or after the game. Thanks for being one of the angels I am sure that helped our Eagles to win the Superbowl! And truly saddened that we didn't get together as you mentioned over the past few months. I am praying that you rest peacefully and for all of your family and friends who will truly miss you being here. Condolences sincerely expressed to everyone affected by Mr. Mac leaving us so unexpectedly and too soon. Until we meet Again.

You’re leaving a huge hole down here Billy Mac. Who’s gonna bust on me now? Where am I going to get my next beer? Who’s gonna support the Gimp Patrol? How will we ever do Joe’s without you? Let alone your summer and New Years soirées. Huge laugh, huge heart, huge wit, huge hole without you. My heart is heavy. Love and prayers Liz, Lucille, and Eddie. Godspeed Mr. Bill.

Bill was the best brother in law ever, and a very good friend. He was also a good man...one of the best I have met. We loved gourmet food, drinks, parties, having fun, teasing each other and telling jokes. He loved life with such gusto, and I will miss him.
Last time I was in Philly visiting our in laws in rehab, I stayed with Bill for three days. We had such a blast, just talking, laughing, eating, drinking and just catching up. He was in pain most of the time, and I felt bad about that, but he never let it ruin our time together. We drank gimlets and he made his famous London Broil...so tender and juicy, never figured out his secret.
I knew his parents pretty well too, and spent time hanging out at their house.
I am very sad about his early passing, but I am grateful to have known him. I am a better person because I knew Bill, and will not forget him.

Uncle,
I'm going to miss you man.. I always looked forward to seeing you while visiting Philly. You kept me on toes with your quick wit and excellent sense of humor. I remember you well from a young age. Played several jokes on you throughout the years. You were always a good sport. Our Eagles played their hearts out yesterday and I felt you there watching with me. I think you may have had something to do with the win. You would be so proud. I'm glad I got to see you last year over the July 4th holiday. I still remember what you said ;). That one's just for me and you.
Although you're not with us physically any more, I know your spirit is close. You had an impact on each and every individual you ever met. I'm celebrating you man.. Celebrating. I truly believe we will all see each other again. Until then man.....
Love,
Your nephew - Joey

Mike and I are so sorry for your loss. Although we didn’t know Bill as well as others, our interactions
were so positive. Whenever I strolled by his home he would inevitably be working on furniture pieces, and we would stop and chat and admire his work.
He enlisted my help for the last election to ensure that the Democrats had a poll worker at each site.
We always enjoyed his friendly demeaner and his independent and caring attitude.. He will be greatly missed in the Foxfield Community.

"God's Garden
God looked around his garden and found an empty place
And then he looked down upon the earth, and saw your tired face
He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest
God's garden must be beautiful; He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering; He knew you were in pain
He knew that you would never get well on earth again
He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb
So He closed your weary eyelids and whispered "Peace be Thine".
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home."
