I am so sorry about the loss of your Dad. He was a wonderful man and will be missed by many. It was a pleasure to meet you and an honor to care for your Dad. You were a very devoted daughter. May God be near to you and bless you during this time.

To the best devoted daughter ever!! I know your Dad meant the world to you, and you meant the world to him. He will always be with you. I lost my Dad in 2009 and there is not a day that goes by I don't think about him. Everytime I drive to the country I see a Cardinal and he leads the way...I know that's my Dad letting me know that he is with me. Thank you for all you did. I will miss your smiling face. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Margie and Linn, Our condolences to you on the loss of Mr. Hair. He was such a good man. Mr. and Mrs. Hair were wonderful neighbors to us in Larkin Knoll. My parents loved John and Isabella. I remember the time Mr. Hair came to my office with a minor legal question. While he was there we got to talking and he told me the story about the World War II historians who came to Philadelphia for a symposium. They invited him to the symposium and offered to send a car to pick him up, as well as a complimentary room at the hotel where the symposium was being held. At the time, he was still driving and he told them he would drive down to the hotel by himself and come back home the same day. When he got to the symposium, he said he was surprised to see that there was name plate for him at a table in front of an array of historians and writers who were there to question him and several other veterans on their experience at the Battle of the Bulge. He had such humility that he could not believe that these people would make such a fuss over me. But he smiled at me and said it did feel nice to know people still cared enough about an old guy like him to invite him down there and treat him so well. On that day at my office I got to ask him about how he got his purple heart and he shared that personal story with me. It was mesmerizing to hear him tell it. I wanted both of you to hear this story again, though I think I have told Margie about it before. I will never forget it.
