Obituary of Mario Natale

Mario Natale, age 73 of Springfield, PA died on February 11, 2017 at home. Mario was born and raised in Italy before immigrating to the U.S. with his family at the age of 15 in 1958. He resided for the past 30 years in Springfield, previously residing in Upper Darby and S.W. Phila.. Mario was a bus driver first for the Upper Darby School District for 18 years and then for Septa for 23 years, retiring in 2001. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and enjoyed making wine, going to the casino, traveling, but most of all spending time with his family. Mario is preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Raffaela (Della Vecchia) Natale, sister, Filomena Natale; who died in 1956, and sister in law Annamarie Natale; who died in 2011. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Concetta Perone Natale, 2 children, Maryann (Joe) Plefka and Mike (Sally) Natale, 3 siblings, Theresa (Nick) Ranieri, Joanne (Frank) Spigonardo and Anthony Natale, 4 grandchildren, Nicole and Sara Natale, Joey and Alex Plefka, also many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Friday, 9:45-10:45AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 2130 Franklin Ave., Morton, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM. Interment S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
