Steve had a dramatic impact on my daughters life, and through her softball experiences, my whole family’s life.
My first introduction to steve was at the chi Rec center, my daughter Meghan was just taking up the game, and I was “teaching” her. The first words I heard were “that’s not how you do it” in that loveable steve Medvid voice !!!!
This began a memorable relationship in which he was Meg’s first pitching coach, which eventually led us to Chaos softball.
So many nights/ games with him and meg, and eventually with his daughter Kate who played with Meg for several years.
A gruff voice, a hardened outside demeanor, a man with a big heart.
When meg was named player of the year, she made it a point to mention Steve in the article. When she called him the next day, he said you’re going to make me cry !!!
Thoughts to Sue, Caitlyn, and Austin, as well as the entire family. Steve will always be rembrred very fondly by my family.

I consider Steve to be a very good friend and will certainly miss him. Living in Tioga county, I did not see him all that often , but I could count on him to call me when hunting season would approach and we would talk on the phone at various times throughout the year. I know how much he cherished his time up here in Tioga while visiting the Chester Camp,as well as the Fahnestock Camp, as there was never a dull moment with Steve in our company. He enjoyed bringing his son Austin and his grandson Steve up for turkey season so they both could hunt with my friend Turk Cruttenden and me. They were great times and I will hold those memories close for years to come. May you Rest In Peace my friend. Joe Davis
