Obituary of Josephine C. McDaniel

Josephine C. McDaniel, age 92 of Bethel Township, PA passed away after a lengthy illness on February 2, 2023 at her home. Born in Chester, PA, Josephine was a lifelong resident of Bethel Township. Josephine retired as a paraprofessional after working for many years for Garnet Valley School District. She was a member of Siloam United Methodist Church, where she served as church Historian. Josephine enjoyed the outdoors. Her favorite trips were to Potter County and Assateague Island with her husband. In addition to her parents, John and Florence Adams Schott, Josephine is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. McDaniel, who passed in 2011, and 2 siblings, John Schott and Dorothy Gray. She is survived by 2 sons, James McDaniel and his wife Nancy, and Joseph McDaniel and his wife Daria, sister, Gertrude Herman, 5 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, from 11AM-12PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by Funeral Services at 12PM.
