To the Blake family, I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Betty’s passing. Our parents were close friends and myself and my siblings have fond memories of going to Aunt Betty’s and Uncle Bill’s house to swim in your pool. I was fortunate that my Godparents are Aunt Betty and Uncle Bill. Two very nice people that I have fond memories of. My condolences to her children and grandchildren. Ronnie O’Brien

Betty was a long and faithful member of the Maris Grove Fellowship Choir. She was already ready to help someone who needed her assistance. Her smile was contagious and she was such a kind person. Betty will be missed by all members of the choir. Condolences to her family whom she loved so much.

I had the honor of caring for Betty for over a decade as her dermatologist. Betty made a lasting impression on all of us who knew her at PENN Dermatology for her kindness, courage, and devotion to her family and community. Betty was the kind of person whose smile always reminded us of why we dedicated our lives to medicine. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her and may she rest in peace. Joel Gelfand MD
