We are so sorry for your loss. We were fortunate to have had your mother as a neighbor and friend. She was such a wonderful warm person, her kindness and love for her family and friends will live on forever. We have many fond memories of her and will always have a place in our hearts for her. What can I say about Harriet that can pay enough tribute to this wonderful friend from my school years. I was a black kid from Leiperville, bussed into Ridley Township for school integration. I might not have graduated if it wasn't for Harriet. She tutored me and gave me support through my entire senior year. Not everyone was friendly, and accepting, but Harriet was special. I am grateful to have Harriet as a lifelong friend. She will be dearly missed. Sincerely, Carl Payne #24
