I have such fond memories, the funniest of which "Aunt" Gloria convinced me to polka with her at a family wedding, when told her I couldn't two step or polka she wouldn't have it. She spent a good hour twirling my teenage self around the dance floor! I must confess that was the best I've ever polkaed! But my favorite memory of "Aunt" Gloria is actually from when I was a little girl. I don't recall the occasion but she was at our house for a family celebration. I think Baba was there too, anyway I was sitting on her lap and she was playing with my right hand, running her fingers down my hand and turning my tiny hand over in hers. I remember her talking about my "tiny, delicate hands and long artistic fingers". She was filling my head with the grandeur of my future and qualities of myself based on my hand. I still remember how warm and loving her touch was. I guess in a way I've carried that conversation with me ever since, I now find myself always assessing the hands of the people I meet down to their handshake. I am lucky to hold these memories close and send loving condolences to her family and all who now only carry memories.

Gloria was definitely one of my favorites and will always hold a special place in my heart. I truly enjoyed our little chats over the last several years…getting to know her, hear all life’s adventures and about the family she so loved and adored. Maria & family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I loved reading about Gloria. What a remarkable person! I can see much of her in Maria. How very blessed you have been, to have had such a wonderful soul for a mom. Which, I know from personal experience regarding my own mother, Janice, makes it that much harder to say “au revoir”. God bless Gloria. I will hold you all close to my heart and prayers.

It was an absolute pleasure to have Gloria as our realtor for many years she helped my wife and I buy our first and second home . She was the sweetest woman you would meet but a tough negotiator you definitely wanted her on your side for a real estate transaction. Our condolences to the entire family. Rest In Peace you were one of a kind .
