I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Bill. He was such a positive energy to be around. It was my privilege to be able to work for him. It was obvious how much he loved his family and cared deeply for the patients, the company, and the employees at Continuous. His enthusiasm and commitment made me want to work even harder. My thoughts are with the entire Putman family. This legacy of his spirit and kindness will endure.

Bill was one of the most kind, caring and gentle souls I have ever known. He loved his family and all the employees of Continuous Home Care. I had the fortune of working with Bill as a home care consultant for nearly 20 years. He was always striving to make the company an example of what home health care could mean to patients and the communities it served. His commitment to doing things right was unwavering . I a better person for having had the opportunity to work with him, Nellie Blanco the rest of the Continuous Home Care staff. My condolences to his family during this difficult time. Reset assured you are surrounded with the love of all of us who were fortunate enough to have know Bill.

My sincere condolences to Nancy, her children and extended family. I never met Bill but he has obviously touched the lives of so many within his community. I grew up with Nancy and her siblings on Bethel Rd. In more recent years Bill has been a helpful neighbor to my mother on several occasions. I know she really appreciated him. Dear Nancy and Family.
My heart aches for you. Bill was an extraordinary gentleman gone far too soon. Memories of our GVES Nickelodeon night and our other game nights at GVES were the best because of Bill. It's been a year and a half since my children and I lost Robert. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers as you take this new journey.
Warmest thoughts and sympathy,

I am heartbroken to hear of Mr. Putman's passing! I grew up with his daughter Laura and remember him as this very big, very loud, and very nice man (maybe he just seemed big because we were young). I will never forget him. Dennis and I send our condolences and love to the entire family.

Words may not suffice to express the heartfelt sorrow that we feel and also the gratitude in our hearts for having shared in Bill’s immense and incomparable life. We must share that Bill so deeply cared for his staff not only as a boss, but as a friend which was shown through some of the kindhearted acts as asking how we are and taking interest in each of us, making sure there were always enough snacks for staff, wonderful surprise lunches, gift cards in appreciation of his staff, participating while making holiday celebrations brighter and empowering us with his wealth of knowledge as a leader like a candle full of light and comradeship.
Bill gave his all-in life; his legacy will continue to serve us and Continuous Home Care. Our deepest, most heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to the Putman family. May loving memories ease the pain in your hearts and may your hearts find comfort and peace.
Bill, you were so loved by your staff at Continuous Home Care, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure as we hold on dearly to your memories and never forget the cherished moments. Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.

The Robinson family wishes to offer our prayers and condolences during this difficult time. Bill was a thoughtful and kind person that gave of his talents to others. We are all better off for knowing him. One example of his kindness, just before he became ill, I saw him at the Wawa on Chichester Avenue, he insisted on paying for my breakfast sandwich and thanked me for my public service, in “53” years of service I never recall this ever happening to me. This act exemplified the person he was and how he wanted to make people happier. This action certainly made a strong impression on me as I am sure his acts of thoughtfulness did on others as well. May you find peace and comfort.

Maybe the best tribute to Bill is to recall his passion in caring for people. All types of people, but especially persons struggling with health or life issues. I met him through his business and witnessed his success with Continuous during the past few years. Bill glowed with pride when speaking of his wife and children and their contributions to all they had accomplished as a family. He even made me feel like "family" when we met. I am so sorry to lose this wonderful man but so thankful to have shared in his life journey (and Christmas chocolates!). As Bruce S. sang, "Talk about a dream/Try to make it real..." Bill, you did. Thank you. Ann Marks.
