My condolences to the Szurgyjlo family! Joe and I worked together for over 3 years and decided to move to Florida by an invitation from his friend from high school! We drove our Mustangs on February, 2nd 1973 and landed in New Smyrna Beach, Florida! Our paths went in different directions - I ended up staying in Florida and Joe went back to PA to work as a union electrician! We didn’t stay in contact throughout the years! I saw Joe in 2007 and for the last time in 2015! We only kept up with one another through Facebook! I practically lived at Joe’s house in our younger days out of high school! I remember the time we went to Wildwood, NJ and stayed out all night, drove home and went straight to work! Rest In Peace Joe!

If you were to look up the definition of a “nice man” in Webster’s Dictionary don’t be surprised to see a picture of Joe Szurgyjlo. He was all that and more. Joe and my late wife, Kathy, shared the same birth date. They would always mentioned it when we got together. I bet they’re talking about it now! He was a kind and gentle soul. My thoughts and prayers are with the Szurgyjlo family during this difficult time. My deepest condolences, Michael Cinaglia

To the Szurgyjlo family, Sending our love & prayers to your family. I have known Joe for about 23 years and my husband, Corky, knew Joe a lot longer than that. He was such a nice man. I know he will be missed by you, his family, but will also be missed by many long time friends. Although we didn't see him often, we still considered him a good friend.
