Mr. Zeller, I express my condolences to you and your family on the death of your wife. I was happy to have met both of you on Valentine's day and to have prayers with both of you. Thank you to Betty for making my family feel welcome when we moved to the Knoll in 1978. Also, she was so supportive of the Girl Scouts and as a Girl Scout I had a great time getting to know the residents and decorating the halls for the holidays at Kendall. She had a big heart. My condolences to Valerie, Carol, Gene, and the extended family on behalf of the Mahaffy's.

I knew, worked with, and admired Betty for many years at Kendal and Crosslands. She was a truly gentle and caring person. Skilled as a nurse, she was also a very competent and supportive leader. On a more personal note, she and her family adopted a puppy, a poddle mix, from us who they named Beau as I recall. We were very happy that Beau got such a nice home. We were so sorry to hear that Betty had passed. Joe & Deb Savery
