It has been a long time since I saw Jimmy Renner. We were childhood friends as I lived around the corner on Edgewood Avenue. He was my first friend on Willowbrook and introduced me to Susan and Steve. We built a tree fort behind Mac's where they built Pathmark years later. The pin ball and penny candy comic book store was across the other side of MacDade. I often wonder if Dorothy ever went there too as she lived not far from there (I was friends with her older sister). I know Jimmy did. My childhood memories include an electrical cord injury that hurt Jimmy, playing croquet and badminton crazy style, decorating our bikes on Memorial Day and the 4th of July. Jimmy was even then a child of good nature. I am sorry to hear of his untimely death. My condolences Anna Merritt Holmes

I became acquainted with Jim in 1985 while he was a supervisor in the 353 PA and manager of Crafts. We had a friend in common and enjoyed exchanging funny stories. Jim was a good guy and will be missed and remembered especially by his family who he spoke of so often.

Dorothy and Kim,
Jim was an inspiration for all of us.
I am so sorry I cannot make the funeral but I am so sorry for their loss to the family. Please tell me a time that I can come by to see you to hug and offer a shoulder to lean on.
Jim has been a mentor, friend, exercise partner and best buddy along with Dorothy. Kim has been a cheerleader and friend as well as Justin. The entire family is a loving family who would help anyone in need because that is what Jim encouraged in all of them and everyone around him.
He will be missed by all. His dedication and friendship has inspired and helped so many people. He will be watching over us and smiling.
His spirit will live on forever in all those he has touched.
I will miss him so much.
Barbara

My deepest sympathy for the loss of Jim. Life is so precious and is often taken for granted. Jim was a great co-worker and often spoke of his family and was so proud of his daughters. I last saw Jim when I retired 9 years ago but frequently reminisce of the many friendships that were formed while working at ESL. I hope you are able to find peace through this very difficult time. Our prayers are with you.
