I have fond memories of Nellie. When I was in second grade we moved next door to Nellie and her family. We were both in second grade. Ten years later we graduated from Eddystone High School. Our mothers were the best of life long friends. Nellie and I attended the Methodist Church and were members of the Methodist Youth Fellowship. On many occasions we even played basketball in Block Hall. When we were in high school, her future husband and I both ran the mile on the track team. I never beat him. It has been a lifetime filled with many pleasant memories of Nellie. Good by, my friend.
