We are saddened to know Curt passed in January. We call him each year during the holidays but this year the phone was disconnected, I assumed he had moved in with Rusty, as he had mentioned as much. Your father was the kindest, most lovely man we have had the pleasure of knowing. Aimee was especially fond of him and he adored her too. I know you all took good care of him, he was very proud of his children and loved his grandchildren. Always brought us up to speed when we spoke. In Remembrance, Deborah, & Family

My grandmother Jeanette Chechila loved her brother Curt very much. She would tell me stories about their lives together growing up. I visited when I was a very young girl and uncle curt was always so kind. God bless the Swift family during this difficult time and May he rest forever in peace. Amen. Dear Pam, Rusty, Denise and families, Paul and I are so sad to hear of Uncle Curt's passing. We were all such a close family for so many years and I cherish all the fun and happy times we had together. Uncle Curt was and is a wonderful person and we have many family memories of him and Aunt Rita who we also dearly miss. Curt's greatest legacy is the family he created with Rita-just two young kids from Chester trying to make their way in the post WWII era. Their success was offering their children more than they had and enduring the necessary sacrifices to make advancement possible. Curt and Rita were emblematic of a tough generation who accepted rough times and learned to manage despite setbacks. I hope my father in law has found peace and comfort. His memory will be present within his vast family for many years to come.
