I knew Ray at the Delta Senior Center. I am sure all the seniors send their love and condolences. Ray was such a vital part of our Senior Center. He came in every day on the van and he participated in every activity. He was one of the only men in the craft classes. His first loves were the regular bowling, Wii bowling and bingo. Ray was always ready to help. Two of his regular duties was helping the ladies on the van carrying their tote bags and always carrying a screwdriver to tighten the screws in our chairs. We have lost many of the chairs since he left us. Personally, Ray was my biggest cheerleader. He was quiet about it, but he always had a word of praise or encouragement especially when I was feeling down. He could always sense when one of the other seniors was getting on my last nerve. My hobby is rubber stamping and I would bring bags of equipment in to share with the senior in making cards. Ray always carried every bag out to my car for me. The picture is wonderful.
