Obituary of Dwain Wood "Woody" Watkins

Dwain "Woody" Watkins, age 63 of Garnet Valley, PA passed away suddenly on July 8, 2020 at his summer home in Buttonwood, MD. A longtime resident of Concord Township, PA, Woody was raised in West Chester, PA. He graduated in 1974 from Garnet Valley High School where he played High School football. Woody then received his Bachelors degree and MBA from the University of Delaware. Woody, along with his partner, Pete Cilberto, owned and operated R.E.I., a Real Estate Inspection business. Woody had many hobbies. He enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, ATVs and off-road Jeeping. He also enjoyed time spent with his family in Mifflinburg, PA and on the Chesapeake Bay. He was an avid reader and enjoyed music. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his grandson, Jackson Dwain. Woody is survived by his wife of 42 years, Donna Gicker Watkins, 3 children, Cari Watkins, Kim (Fred) Warner, and Kaycee Watkins. He is also survived by his parents, Dwain & Kathryn Watkins, 2 sisters, Debora (Scott) Danby and Kathryn (Pete) Marcolina, a brother, Joseph (Jocelyn) Watkins, and father-in-law, Paul Gicker. A visitation will be held on July 13th, Monday, 6-8PM as well as July 14th, Tuesday, 9-10AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 10:00AM. Interment, Birmingham-Lafayette Cemetery, West Chester, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Siloam United Methodist Church Building Fund.
