Brad, Forever I will remember you as the firefighter who advanced a 2 1/2 up a stairwell of a well involved farmhouse - Up three flights... to the attic. That Christmas day gave a farmer his home as a present. I have little doubt without your efforts we would have lost the attic and then the house. Time and time again you gave back yet never talked about it. Always the quiet one that could be counted on... Well... Not always quiet, just never boastful. You will be missed, but you made a profound impact during your time here - both at work and with your family. May you rest in peace, Brother.

I only knew Brad for the past few years when his family bought a camper and parked it in the same park as us. My son Jeff worked with Brad in HCFRS and through him I learned of Brad's battle. We spent some great times over the past several summers getting to know each other's families, drinking a few beers and talking shop about the fire service. I never had any doubt about his fight and determination to spend as much time as he could with his first his family and then his job. He was one of the toughest guys I know and also one of the funniest. We got this Brother, we will take it from here!

Brad was an amazing man who never let the worst of a situation get to him. He loved his girls and did all he could with a smile on his face. He will be missed by all.
