We have such fond memories of Mr Thomas. Both my husband, Bobby Stephenson and myself Delauna Hall Stephenson were students at Blue Ridge Jr. High. My sister, Martha Thomas, was a teacher with Mr. Thomas and they were really good friends. Bobby has so many fond memories of Mr Thomas as a scout leader, coach, science teacher and mentor. Not many men can say that they put as many hours and effort into scouting that Ben Thomas did. He was truly an amazing person to help all the scouts over the years. We love you Mr. Thomas, rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
