Obituary of Kenneth A. Nelson

Kenneth A. Nelson, age 59 of Chadds Ford, PA passed away on February 20, 2020 at home. Born in Chester, PA, he was a longtime resident of Chadds Ford, PA. Ken graduated form Garnet Valley High School. He was an auto mechanic working at one time for Church's Auto in Ridley Park and Car Care in Chadds Ford. Ken was known for his "Little Red Dodge Express Truck" where he not only enjoyed driving it, but entering it in local car shows. He also enjoyed fishing and playing pinochle. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Nelson Jr., brother, Chuck Nelson and step father, Franz Herrmann. Ken is survived by his mother, Estella F. Herrmann, niece, Kristina Darnall, nephew, Chaz Nelson and cousin, Michael Logue. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, 9-10AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a celebration of life at 10:00AM.
