I'm Ken's cousin, Leslie O'Connor, and I'm saddened to hear of his death. Ken and I were the same age, and our Grandpop, C. Harding Nelson, died when we were in first grade. We bonded at his funeral - avoiding the adults, sneaking food and reflecting for the first time (as 6/7 year-olds) on death and what a wonderful (but sometimes scary!) man our Grandpop was. We always looked for each other at future family gatherings and hung out together. I've not visited with Ken in recent years, but I will always think of him with love and a special sentiment that reminds me of the family of my childhood. Kind condolences to all who loved him.

To the best little guy anyone who was lucky enough to know him are grateful for our time with him! And to be able to call our dear friend. We are so heartbroken .
