Hi Fran, Thank you for adding this! I feel exactly the same way. Joe is my brother and I cannot tell you how many times I think, oh I have to tell Joe that. Just remember he knows we are thinking of him! Thank you for being his friend!

It's frustrating to write this because I think of those who love you so much having to live without you. There won't be a day that goes by that you are not thought of and I am pretty sure each time, someone will start laughing. You were a crackup and made me laugh from the day we met back in 1983. You weren't just Connie's brother, Brenda and Eddie's son, Joey and Chris' dad or Holly and April's uncle. You were Uncle Joe to our kids too. You were important to all of us and we will miss you. RIP my friend. For the McElwee and Rhoads families - love you and we are here for you.
