Obituary of Janet M Mahoney

Janet M. "Jay" Mahoney, age 83 of Aston, PA died suddenly on May 20, 2016 at home. Born to the late David & Caroline Sulpizio Ceppettelli in Marcus Hook, PA, she has resided the past 36 years in Aston, PA. Raised in Chester, PA, she graduated from Ridley Park High School. Janet worked 28 years at Scott Paper as a switchboard operator. After her retirement, she continued working for Wawa at their corporate office. She was a member of the former St. Roberts Church in Chester. When she wasn't shopping or at her favorite beauty salon, she could be found at home relaxing and crocheting. Janet was also known by her family as an avid Eagles fan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William D. Mahoney. She is survived by 3 children, Kevin (Charlene) Mahoney, Karen Wardius & Tina (Mark) Gillen, a sister, Emma Kimball, 6 grandchildren, Stephen, David, Janet, Rachel, Dorea & Aleeya and 4 great grandchildren, Brianna, Josalynn, Dylan & Maliyah. Her Memorial services will be held on Thursday, 2:00PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA where friends may call from 1:00-2:00PM. Interment Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
