I am so very sorry for your loss. The loss of a mother is extremely difficult. You will always have her in your heart and in your memories. Esther was a good friend of the Barber Family. We moved down the street in December of 1974. Esther and Wally became instant friends of the Barbers. Esther was instrumental in saving Mrs. Barber from being hit by a car on Van Leer Avenue on two separate occasions. I have always loved Esther. From her bringing us apples from her trees to the stories she used to tell us about her, Wally, and her children growing up. Even after I moved away, and after mom and dad passed I always would stop and talk to Esther if I saw her. She was a very dear, dear friend and I loved her dearly. She will truly be missed. I thank God for having known her and being given the privilege of calling her FRIEND in every sense of the word. GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY FAMILY MEMBER. The loss of a parent does get easier as time goes on.
