Obituary of George T. Waters

George T. Waters, age 83 of Broomall, PA passed away peacefully on May 12, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. Born in Bristol, PA, George has resided many years in Broomall, PA and in his later years, winters in Florida. George served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was stationed in Germany receiving an honorable discharge. He spent his entire working life in the Electrical Construction Industry. He was a proud 62 year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). George was known both at workplace, Henkels & McCoy and in his personal life as a tireless worker. He loved ballroom dancing, fishing, hunting, gardening and fine craft beer. He was also known as an excellent cook and handyman. He would be the first guy out to shovel your walk. In addition to his parents, Francis & Lillian Fisher Waters, George is preceded in death by his 1st Wife; Rita R. Waters who died in 1983 and his 2nd Wife; Philomena Ciarmoli, siblings; Ruth (Richard) Meyer, Edith (Anthony) Zanni, Late Florence K. Waters, Alice (George) Rittler, Patricia Waters, Richard F. Waters & Eugene E. (Joan) Waters. George is survived by children; his beloved Laura "Pud" (Ron Vochinsky) Waters, Michael (Paola) McKenzie, Cheryl (Howard) Powell, Joseph (Vicki) McKenzie, Robert (Alice) McKenzie, Rosa (Steve) Kauffman, William McKenzie, Jr., Mary Waters & Georgette Waters, a sister; Beverly A D'Ambrosio, Sister-In-Law; Laura Waters, a brother; Robert D. (Terri) Waters, grandchildren with whom he resided; Gianna & Nicholas Finnicum as well as numerous other grandchildren, and great grandchildren. George will also be sadly missed by his favorite cat, "Trouble". A visitation will be held on Thursday, 9-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA followed by Memorial Services at 11:00AM. Interment will remain private. The family requests that friends and relatives visiting wear a piece of blue clothing or dress blue.
