From the Officers and Members of Ogden Fire Company No. 1:
It is with deep sadness we learned of the untimely death of our “Honorary/Life Member” Robert W. Repine Sr. Robert served on our Board of Directors and as a Chief Engineer during his time with Ogden Fire Company (Station 55). Affectionately known as “REPO”, he brought his work experience and skills to the benefit of the community. His devotion to the fire service is also recognized by his willingness to share his talent and abilities with the neighboring Lower Chichester Fire Department. Always willing to express an opinion; he opened many a discussion on how to improve operations. He especially demonstrated a unique relationship with our member’s younger children through his kindness and generosity. REPO also used his negotiating skill when it came to fundraising for Ogden by chairing our Christmas Tree Sales Committee, a big endeavor with significant importance and to the financial stability of the Fire Company. Our membership will deeply miss “REPO” and his omnipresence around the Station, but realize his family will be dealing with a bigger void, but the memories will keep his spirt alive. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Family and his fellow Firefighters at this time of grief. Our Brother, “Rest in Peace.”
William T. Robinson
