Obituary of Walter H. Reading

Walter H. Reading, age 95 of Media, PA passed away on April 26, 2019. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he resided for the past 50 years in Media, PA. Walter was a retired mechanical engineer for United Engineers in Philadelphia and received his degree in engineering from Drexel University. A sergeant, Walter served in the Army during WWII. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy H. and Elsie Winterling Reading and is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Carolyn Frame Reading, 3 children, Richard (Linda) Welford, Cheryl (Kenneth) Smith and Wendy Imhof, 7 grandchildren, Amanda (Patrick) Drop, Jonathan Welford, Edward Smith, Benjamin Smith, Samuel Smith, Walter Imhof and Adam Imhof also 1 great granddaughter, Madeleine Drop. A visitation will be held on Thursday, 10:00-11:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 11:00AM. Interment will be private.
