Obituary of Norman J. Grier

Norman J. "Jack" Grier, age 74, of Upper Chichester Twp., PA passed away on March 9, 2019 at Naamans Creek Country Manor. Jack was born in Chester, PA to the late John N. & Mary E. Whittington Grier. He has resided the past 9 years in Upper Chicester and previously Linwood and Wallingford, PA. Prior to retiring as a security guard with Riddle Hospital for 9 years; he had worked 10 years for Sun Oil. Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing and was well known as a "jokester". As an avid sports fan, Jack loved his Eagles football and the Philadelphia Flyers. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Virginia A. "Ginny" Grier, his four children; Jodi (Ricci) Pyle, James (Cheryl) Grier, John Grier, Jacqueline Robinson, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and his four siblings. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019, 3 PM to 5 PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA.  Interment will remain private.
