Obituary of Charles E. Hembree

Charles E. Hembree Sr., age 101, of Marcus Hook, PA passed away on February 13, 2019 at his home. Born and raised in Caryville, TN, Charles was a longtime resident of Marcus Hook, PA. After serving in the Army, Charles retired from Sun Oil in Marcus Hook in the 1980's after 40 years. In addition, Charles also owned and operated his own bicycle business from his home since 1957. He had a love of the bicycle business, however he also enjoyed fishing and camping. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Alvis and Lanie McGhee Hembree, his wife who passed in 2002, Norma "Nadine" Hembree (nee) Bozeman, children, Charlotte Hembree and Charles Hembree Jr., siblings, Dewey and James Hembree, May Wilson and Della Jobe and a grandson, Christopher Hembree. Charles is survived by 2 children, David and Gene Hembree, 3 siblings, Fred L. Hembree, Jean Jarvis and Mabel Torres and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, from 9:30-10:30AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Service at 10:30AM. Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
