Susan and I were classmates at Abington Memorial Hospital School of Nursing from September 1963-September 1966. We worked together at Abington Hospital for a time after graduation. Susan was beloved by all. I will especially remember her sense of humor and laugh. She was always getting into mischief. She brought a duck from the pond at Penn State Ogontz Campus to class one day and climbed a water tower to place a golf flag on it. She was regularly sent home to change her uniform as it was too short. I always enjoyed her stories and antics, since I was the "serious" one and was amazed at her bravery. Reunions will not be the same without her. My mother loved her and will be watching out for her in heaven.
