Obituary of Robert Reginald Bythewood

Robert Reginald Bythewood, age 76 of Glen Mills, PA died on January 8, 2019 at Surburban Community Hospital. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he resided for the past 3 years in the Maris Grove Community in Glen Mills, PA, previously residing in Nyack, NY for 47 years. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam Era. Afterwards, he was a cable splicer for Verizon in New York retiring after 36 years of service. Robert was known as an armchair sports fan, specifically a New York sports fan. He also enjoyed spending summer vacations in Cape May, NJ. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Beatrice Watson Bythewood. Robert is survived by his wife of 50 years, Andrea Smith Bythewood, 2 children, Allegra Bythewood and Adrian (Dawn) Bythewood, 5 grandchildren, Donnell Valdez, Teneya Pridgen, Alan Bythewood, Kiara Herring and Adrian Bythewood Jr., 2 brothers, Thomas and Theodore Bythewood, 3 nieces ,1 nephew and several cousins.
