Obituary of Edward C. Brock

Edward C. Brock, age 94 of Garnet Valley, PA died suddenly on April 26, 2016. Born to John & Caroline Wasil Brock in Philadelphia, he was a graduate from the Benjamin Franklin High School. He served in the Navy during WWII in the South Pacific. Edward has resided in Bethel Twp. since 1995 and previously Ridley Park PA. He was a Group Leader for G.E. in Southwest Philadelphia for 41 years retiring in 1980. Mr. Brock was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church & the AARP. He was an avid Eagles fan and he enjoyed the company of his family, especially his grandchildren & great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter, Doris Fagan and a brother, Albert Brock. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Evelyn Kilpatrick Brock, a daughter, Patricia (James) Hagan and a son, John (Patricia) Brock, a sister, Evelyn Johnson, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a son in law, Joseph Fagan (Maggie Sparks). A viewing will be held on Monday, 9:15-10:15AM at St. Thomas the Apostle (New Church), 430 Valleybrook Rd., Glen Mills, PA 19342 followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM.
