Obituary of Maria M. Snyder

Maria Teresa Marinari Snyder, age 88, of Bethel Township passed away on December 28, 2018 at Gull Creek Senior Living in Berlin, MD. She was born on June 4, 1930 in Washington, District of Columbia. She graduated from St. Cecilia's Academy on June 6, 1949. She lived most of her married life in Chadds Ford, PA and the last seven years in Bethel Township, PA. A homemaker and devout Catholic, she was an active member of St. Cornelius Catholic Church where she also worked at the after-school Cares program for many years. Maria enjoyed her church, home, family and her friends as well as cooking, and shopping. In addition to her parents, Genesio and Maria Ciociola Marinari, a sister Carolyn Wood, a brother Dante Marinari and a brother Mario Marinari precede her in death. Two sons, David M. (Karen) Snyder and Douglas R. (Cynthia) Snyder, a brother Gene Marinari, a sister Ida Lawrence and three grandchildren, Lauren M. Falotico, Paul D. Snyder and Bryan J. Snyder, as well as three great grandchildren, Sally Grace Falotico, Samuel Thomas Snyder, and Avery Jane Falotico survive Maria. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019, 9:45-10:45 am, at St. Cornelius Catholic Church 160 Ridge Road, Chadds Ford, PA 19317, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am and Interment at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Cemetery in Greenville, DE. Donations in her memory may be made to Saint Cornelius Catholic Church.
