Obituary of Phyllis O. Powell

Phyllis O. Powell, age 86, of N. Wilmington, DE passed away on November 6, 2018. Raised in Media, PA, Phyllis was a longtime resident of N. Wilmington, DE, previously residing in Boothwyn, PA. A homemaker, Phyllis was devoted to her home and family and enjoyed family gatherings during the holidays. In addition to her parents, Leon and Catherine Decker Moore, she is preceded in death her husband, Russell W. Powell who died in 1991 and 2 sisters, Catherine Frank and Jessie Strain. Phyllis is survived by her 2 children, Phyllis (Alfred) Carlstrom and Michael (Margaret) Powell, 4 grandchildren, Stephanie (Patrick) Mahoney, Jake (Jeannine Morrisey) Carlstrom, Jeffrey (Tahirah) Powell and Ashley Powell, 2 great grandchildren, Hunter and Caitlyn Mahoney, and 3 siblings, Leonard and David Moore and Linda Young. A viewing will be held on Monday, 10-11AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA. Interment will remain private.
