Obituary of Dorothy J. Schmidt

Dorothy J. "Dot" Schmidt, age 89, of Boothwyn, PA passed away on November 6, 2018 at Naamans Creek Country Manor. Dot has resided at Lutheran Knolls in Boothwyn since 1981. Prior to her husband's death in 1979, she resided in Millville, NJ and Boothwyn, PA. Dot retired from the Upper Chichester Twp. Where she was a crossing guard. She was quite active and a member of the Boothwyn Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping. In addition to her husband, Dot is also preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Anna Hewlett Wright, and a sister, Elizabeth Pleasure. Dorothy is survived by 5 children, Patricia Pyle, Fred Schmidt, Frank Schmidt, Ronald Schmidt and Kathleen Winder, 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral Services and Interment will remain private.
