Obituary of Tessie Kuchinski

Tessie Kuchinski, age 88, of Chester, PA passed away on September 27, 2018 surrounded by her family at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born & raised in Chester, Tess was a lifelong resident of Chester. A homemaker, Tessie was a devoted member of St. Hedwig's Church. She was also a member of the Polish American Heritage Association and enjoyed her family and the family gatherings. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Katherine Busz Tront, her husband, Walter J. Kuchinski who died in 2008, a son, Walter S. Kuchinski who died in 1978, siblings John Tront, Sophie Greylock, Mary Kirklow, Joe Fratt Tront, Helen Tront and Stefania Hoven. Tessie is survived by 5 children, Jeanette McGuigan, Yosh Kuchinski, Judy Kuchinski, Jackie (John) Merwin and James (Eileen) Kuchinski, 2 siblings, Josephine Korab and Laura Sikorski, also 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday 8:30-10:30AM at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, 4th & Hayes Sts., Chester, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 11AM. Interment, S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. Donations in her memory may be made to the St. Hedwig's Repair Fund, c/o Sacred Heart Church, 316 E. Broadway Ave., Clifton Heights, PA 19018.
