Obituary of Nancy L. Dwyer

Nancy L. Dwyer, age 64, of Linwood, PA, passed away on September 17, 2018 at Crozer Chester Medical Center.  Born in Chester, PA, Nancy resided most of her life in Linwood, PA. She graduated from Chichester High School class of 1972. Nancy retired from Bank of America after 15 years in the credit department, she previously worked for WSFS for 20 years. Nancy was devoted to her home and family. She had a passion for genealogy, family history and ancestry research. She had a connection with her family roots tracing back to the Outer Banks of N.C. and enjoyed tracing her family to that location. As the daughter of a Pearl Harbor survivor and wife of a Vietnam Veteran, Nancy also enjoyed meeting veterans and discussing their military history. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the casinos, and spending time at local festivals. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Myron and Anna Mae Evans Ballance and a sister, Patricia Joy Ballance.  She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jack Dwyer, a daughter, Carol Dwyer, 2 brothers, Bruce (Sandra) Ballance and Dennis (Linda) Ballance also numerous nieces and nephews.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday, 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a memorial service at 11:00AM. Interment is private.  Donations in her memory may be made to American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
