Obituary of Sara M Duko

Sara M. Duko, age 94, of Concord, PA died on August 12, 2018 at The Brandley Hospice House in Summerfield, Florida. Born in Ruggles, PA, she resided in Concord Twp. since 2004, previously residing in the Ogden section of Boothwyn, PA. A homemaker, Sara was a member of the Elam United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed sewing and playing cards. Sara is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Rhoda Kocher Kitchen, her husbands, Charles Heacock who died in 1968 and George Duko who died in 1986, a grandson, Adam Heacock and 2 sisters, Vera Loomis and Nellie Rood. She is survived by 4 children, Daniel (Peggy) Heacock of Deltona, FL, Charlotte (Arthur) Mattsson of The Villages, FL, Gail (Wayne) MacDonald of Anderson, SC and Charles (Janet) Heacock of Harveys Lake, PA, also 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018, 10-11AM at Elam United Methodist Church, 1073 Smithbridge Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342, followed by a Memorial Service at 11AM. Interment is private. Donations in her memory may be made to above named church.
