Obituary of Robert J. Brant

Robert J. Brant, age 87, of Swarthmore, PA passed away suddenly on August 22, 2018 at home. Born in Marcus Hook, PA, Bob resided most of his life in the Swarthmore area. He was an electrician by trade spending most of his working years with Sun Ship, later known as Penn Terminal. Bob had a passion for woodworking. He also enjoyed hunting, especially in Clinton County. In his earlier years, he not only was skilled in karate, but was an instructor as well. In addition to his parents, Arthur and Isabel Simpson Brant, he is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Bull Brant who died in 2005. He is survived by his five children, Robert J. (Gail) Brant Jr., Dean (Mary Anne) Brant, Steven E. (Leslie) Brant, Donna L. Blohm and Kimberly D. (James) Judge, a brother Arthur "Bud" Brant, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Monday, 9-10AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Service at 10AM. Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
