Obituary of Clement E. Terry
Clement E. "Chip" Terry III, age 77 of Linwood, PA died on August 1, 2018 at Kindred Hospital. Born in Chester, PA and raised in Aston, PA, he resided for the past 30 years in Linwood, PA, previously residing in Aston on the Ridge. Chip was a machine operator for Westinghouse until they closed and then worked as a truck driver for various companies retiring in 2008. He was a member of the Marcus Hook Baptist Church and the Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed riding his Harley, woodcarving, playing his harmonica, loved old westerns and especially being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He served in the Marine Corp for 4 years during the Vietnam War and then joined the National Guard for 30 years. Chip is preceded in death by his parents, Clement E. Jr. and Dorothy May Terry, wife, Sadie N. Smith who died in 2017, daughter, Charmane Terry who died in 2002, grandson, Dana Terry who died in 2008 and great granddaughter, Bryanna Terry who died in 2005 and brother Ross Terry. He is survived by 3 daughters, Deborah (Stanley) Modelski, Patricia (William) Mader and Colleen Terry, 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and sister Barbara Long.
