Obituary of Mark J. DiSabatino

Mark J. DiSabatino, age 68, of North Wilmington, DE passed away on June 12, 2018. Mark grew up in Chadds Ford, PA, and graduated from Salesianum High School as a member of the class of 1968. He went on to receive his degree in Psychology from Temple University. Mark was the supervisor for Creative Arts Therapies and Activities at Terry Children's Psychiatric Center in New Castle, DE, where he worked for 30 years. He was an avid Tennis player, enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, and cooking. In addition to his parents, Vincent A. and Rita DiMedio DiSabatino, he is preceded in death by his former 1st wife, Jo Ann Davis. He is survived by his wife of 22 years; Linda Campbell DiSabatino, a son; Christopher DiSabatino and wife, Jacqueline, a brother; Vincent A. DiSabatino Jr. and wife Karla, a sister; Anna Marie DiSabatino, his three grandchildren; Christopher J., Michael V. and Gabriella M. DiSabatino, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening, 6-8PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA and again on Wednesday, 9:00-9:45AM at St. Cornelius Catholic Church, 160 Ridge Rd., Chadds Ford, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington, DE. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark's memory may be made to the Sunday Breakfast Mission, 110 Poplar St., Wilmington, DE 19801.
