Obituary of James F. Jones

James F. Jones, age 77 of Garnet Valley, PA died on May 22, 2018 at the Residence at Glen Riddle. Born in Ridley Park, he resided for the past 14 years in the Fox Field Community in Garnet Valley, previously residing in Upper Chichester and Wilmington. James was a Senior Sales Specialist for Upjohn Pharmaceutical Company for 32 years retiring in 1996. Afterwards James worked out of his home for S/E Usana, a nutrition company for 7 years. He was a former member of St. Davids Episcopal Church in Wilmington where he served on Sunday's as an usher. He graduated from Interboro High School class of 1959. James earned his Bachelor of Science degree from PMC in 1963 where he played football for 4 years as a starter and was known to play 60 minutes of most games. James served in the Army during peacetime. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frederick T. and Lillian McNamara Jones and a brother, "Ritt" Jones. James is survived by 3 children, Steven (Susan) Jones, Denise (Vince) Citarelli and Genene (Steven) Young, former wives, Gilda Cassidy and Frances Hopkins and 7 grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June, 2, 2018, 9-10AM, at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Memorial Services at 10:00AM. Interment will be private.
