Obituary of Charles David Getz

C. David Getz, age 73 of Avon Park, FL died peacefully on May 20th, 2018. Dave has resided for the past 13 years in Avon Park, FL, previously residing in Glen Mills and Boothwyn, PA. Dave worked for Scott Paper/Kimberly Clark for 39 years retiring in 2005. His favorite time of the year was Christmas when he would dress up as Santa for his grandchildren as well as children of various community events. An avid Eagles fan, Dave was delighted to see the Eagles win the Super Bowl. Dave is preceded in death by his parents, Charles V. and Dorothy Getz. He is survived by his wife, Constance "Connie" Cifelli Getz, 2 sons, C. David Getz, Jr. and his wife, Clarinda and Robert J. Getz, sister, Julianne E. Getz, 5 grandchildren, Christopher Sacharok, Julia (Brian) Hunter, Lindsey (Kyle) Campbell, Brandon Getz and Owen Getz and 3 great grandchildren, Olivia, Henry & Abel. A visitation will be held on Tuesday 7-9PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA and Wednesday 9:30-10:15AM at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn, PA followed by a 10:30AM Funeral Mass. Interment, SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
