Obituary of Joan M. Faulkner

Joan M. Faulkner, age 80, Aston, PA passed away on May 11, 2018. Born and raised in Upland, PA, Joan has resided the past 20 years in Aston and previously Chester, PA. Joan retired from the Chichester School District after many years of service. She enjoyed summers in Wildwood, NJ, holidays with her family and watching the Phillies games. In addition to her parents, Horace and Mabel Cathcart Shrom, Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Faulkner who died March 18 of this year and a granddaughter, Christina Faulkner-Peticca. Joan is survived by her five children, Joseph Faulkner, John (Rose) Faulkner, James (Deana) Faulkner, Joan (Robert) Lukens and Jeff (Sandy) Faulkner, 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Friday, 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 11AM. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Delaware Humane Society, 701 A - Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.
