Obituary of Beverly Clayton Martin

Beverly (Clayton) Martin A 63 year resident of Thornton PA, Beverly (Clayton) Martin passed away in her home on Monday, April 23, 2018.. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church since 1955. Bev was a graduate of West Chester High School and worked for many years in Dr. Wasley's office in Linwood. Bev was a nurse in the Birthplace at Riddle Memorial Hospital. She was wife to the late George H. Martin is survived by six children Jodie Vishton (m. Peter) (Williamsburg, VA), George Denney Martin (m. Libby) (Duncannon, PA), Laurie Eden (Middletown, DE), Douglas Clayton Martin (m Janet) (Boothwyn, PA), Tammi Florio (m. James) (Thornton, PA) and James F. Martin (m. Jean) (Oxford, PA). Bev is survived, also, by 8 grandchildren: Peter M Vishton (m. Jennifer Stevens) (Williamsburg, VA), Paige Boesen (Denmark), Karl Martin (m. Tiffany Pyle) (Duncannon, PA), Kendra Stiller (m. Greg) (Duncannon, PA), Christyn Harris (m. Doug) (Middletown, DE), Joe Robinson (m. Julie) (Wilmington, DE), Tiffany Florio (Thornton, PA), JP Florio (Thornton, PA). Also, 13 great-grandchildren: Jacqueline and Sebastian Vishton; Grace Boesen; Christian Conrad, Shawnee and Molly Martin; Ashley and Emma Stiller; Camryn and Scarlett Harris; Joseph, Claire and Lorraine Robinson. Bev is also survived by 1 great-great daughter: Nyomee Martin and her sister Anne Nesbitt (Pennington, NJ). Bev was the daughter of Harriet G. and Nelson D. Clayton of Concord PA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her service on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church (BUMC), 4 Westtown Rd, Thornton, PA. (10 am Visitation; 11:00 am Service and Burial). In lieu of flowers, donate to BUMC or Main Line Hospice.
