Obituary of Michael Micklo

Michael Micklo, age 83, of Brookhaven, PA passed away peacefully on March 10, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Wilkes Barre, PA Michael has resided in Brookhaven over 40 years. Retiring from Medford Meats where he was employed for 43 years, as a manager of Shipping and Transportation. Michael was a member of Our Lady of Charity Church. He enjoyed spending time at the Jersey shore and was an avid fisherman. Michael is preceded in death by his wife, Mary M. Bulger Micklo who died in 2014, his father Michael Micklo, his mother and step-father, Anna and Anthony Zancavage, siblings, Maryann Shyner and Francis Micklo and a brother-in-law, James C. Bulger. Michael is survived by his 5 children, Mary (Rob) Frederick, Michael (Terry) Micklo, Catherine (Tom) Robertson, Barbara (Arthur) Baur and Larry Micklo, a brother-in-law, Thomas Bulger, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A visitation will be held on Thursday, 9:30-10:30AM followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30AM at Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd, Brookhaven, PA. Interment will remain private.
