Obituary of Vesta W. Higgins

Vesta W. Higgins, age 91, of Glen Riddle, PA passed away peacefully on February 28, 2018. Born and raised in Media, PA, Vesta has resided in Glen Riddle since 1947. A homemaker, Vesta was a member of the First U.M. Church in Media. She also was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, West Chester Chapter #352 where she served as past Worthy Matron. In addition to her parents, Earl and Vesta Kirkley Winnie, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Higgins Jr., a daughter, Arden H. Franks and a brother, Earl Winnie Jr.. Vesta is survived by daughters, Johannah S. Higgins and Kimberly H. (Robert) LoConte, son in law, Robert Franks, grandchildren, Kristin (Kyle), Robert, Anthony (Lindsay), Matthew and Michael, 4 great grandchildren, Isis, Ivy, Anthony and Aria and 2 nieces, Denise and Jan. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018, from 10-11am at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Eastern Star Service at 11:00am. Memorial Services will follow. Interment will remain private.
